Website Design Payment Terms:
Full payment in advance for orders up to £3000.00 in value
70% deposit for orders between £3001.00 – £6000.00 in value
60% deposit for orders between £6001.00 – £10000.00 in value
50% deposit for orders above £10001.00
WordPress Hosting & Website Management: Payment is due with your initial deposit or a completed direct debit for monthly payments.
The final balance for any order is due to be paid on sign off or 90 days from deposit whichever comes first. Once an order is placed no refund will be made, if you decide for any reason not to proceed. This is to allow for planning, any meetings and time allocation even though the website may not be live. We also reserve the right to suspend services if monies are outstanding. We expect to deliver a finished website within 70 days if the customer delivers all content within the first 20 days. We will allow a further 60 days subject to all payments being made on time to allow for customer delays due to unforeseen circumstances without any further charge. After this point we will charge a penalty of £120.00 per additional hour worked to finish the website.
Cancellations: You are contractually obliged to carry out full payment for your order. Failure to make agreed payments may result in us instructing debt collection agencies or taking legal action to recover the debt. We reserve the right to claim payments agreed in the contract.
Domain Names, WordPress Hosting & Website Management: If we design your website, you can supply your own domain name/s or you can purchase them from us. Domain names supplied by us will be registered in the customer’s name.
We build WordPress websites and as such it is important to have ongoing security updates and regular backups of your website. Without this if your website gets hacked you could lose everything. We include website security and daily backup with all our WordPress Hosting & Website Management Plans which we will install and maintain for you, along with ongoing WordPress core and various plug-in security updates as and when needed.
All our hosting plans include the cost of any design or page builder license.
If you decide not to purchase one of our WordPress Hosting & Website Management Plans and your website gets hacked there will be additional charges to rebuild or repair your website and we cannot be held responsible for any loss incurred. You may also need to pay for separate licenses.
Domain Names and annual WordPress Hosting, Care & Management Plan renewals will need to be paid at least 15 working days prior to the renewal date to avoid loss of service or loss of name. If payments are missed or paid late, we reserve the right to charge an additional £50.00 administration fee.
Apart from our BASIC+ Hosting & Care Plan, we can offer a variety of additional packages which can include various website updates for this which can be paid annually or monthly. Full details of our current packages are available on request.
You are free to host your site with any provider, however you will need to confirm that the hosting company you choose supports all the functions required for your website or blog to operate correctly.
Security: We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online and offline. All administration logins and passwords used to enable us to access your website or hosting server will be always kept safe and secure.
Copy, Text and Images: Any website content provided by the client remains in the ownership of the client. Go To Digital UK Ltd. take no responsibility for the publishing of any content whether it be inaccurate or anything other, this remains the responsibility of the client to check that accurate and legal content is used. The customer is free to use the content of a website designed by us on written request with no charge, as we do not place any restrictions on this. However, images purchased by Go To Digital UK Ltd. under licence from a third party remain licensed to Go To Digital UK Ltd.. and the customer will not have a license to use the imagery.
Alterations & Updates to your Website: All alterations and updates made to a website supplied by Go To Digital UK Ltd. after completion made by the customer or a third party using any online account management facility where available will be at the customers own risk and Go To Digital UK Ltd. will not accept responsibility for any loss. The customer must take all reasonable steps to maintain the confidentiality of their logins and passwords. If the customer reasonably believes that this information has become known to any unauthorised person, the customer agrees to immediately inform Go To Digital UK Ltd. and the password will be changed (only sites hosted by Go To Digital UK Ltd.).
Ultimately, unless agreed otherwise, alterations and updates will incur a fee for the time spent, unless agreed otherwise with Go To Digital UK Ltd. Minor alterations for new websites will be done free of charge for the first 60 days after site is delivered. Telephone number and address changes on a customer website will always remain free. If your website requires regular updates, we can arrange a suitable monthly Website Management plan specific to your needs.
Basic Technical Search Engine Optimisation: This is included in all new websites we design. Basic means Page Titles, Meta Tags including headline tags. Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the process of improving the volume or quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via “natural” (“organic” or “algorithmic”) search results. Search engines constantly change indexing activities which means it is impossible for any search engine optimisers to guarantee any specific results due to ongoing factors out of their control. Go To Digital UK Ltd. also makes no such guarantees.
Google G4 Analytics or Google Tag Manager: We will as standard install Google’s latest tracking data software and set up Google Search Console and submit a sitemap of your website for indexing on your behalf. If you do not currently have a Google account, we can set this up for you, registered in your name.
Google Business Profile: We can set up and optimise Google My Business Profile listings for an additional charge of £240.00 per location.

Search Engine Optimisation Services (SEO) & Google Ads Management (Additional Services)
Organic Search Engine Optimisation Services (SEO): We charge a hourly rate which can be purchased in blocks for a single one off fee and or a monthly fee by direct debit on an ongoing or fixed basis, depending on your requirements. Three months minimum or one months’ notice is required for monthly ongoing plans. Prices are set on a case-by-case basis depending on the level of service required.
Google Ads Management: We offer a full managed service only. The cost for this service is based on your monthly click fund budget and complexity of the account on an ongoing basis paid by direct debit. There is also an initial set up charge which will be agreed individually based on the complexity of the account. The customer will fund the click fund directly with a suitable payment method for Google to collect payments. Our charges are paid separately to this. No refunds will be given at any point unless we terminate this agreement. All management fees need to be paid on time or account management will cease until paid. We only need 1 months’ notice in writing if you wish to terminate our services. The customer is always liable for any payments due to Google.
Google Ads Account Setup: If you do not currently have a Google Ads Account, we can set this up for you.
Access to Your Existing Google Ads Account: We need full administrative access to all accounts we manage and require that no other party will alter any account setting while we are managing your account.
Conversion Tracking: We also need various tracking codes to be inserted into your website or landing pages so that we can optimise your account and provide ongoing statistical information. You will need to confirm that your website developer will facilitate any request we make regarding this. We can also implement this for you if we have the relevant permissions and access to your website. (Subject to compatibility) This is included in the initial set up charge.
Google Ads Website Landing Page Optimisation: We will also make recommendations regarding user experience and written content of your targeted web pages to increase quality score when matching with keywords and ads etc. We will also make some technical recommendations as we often find that some website designers forget to use the correct method when constructing a web page regarding correct indexing with search engines. This is included in the arrangement fee and ongoing monthly management at no additional cost. Separate landing pages can be constructed for specific targeting purposes. This is included in the initial set up charge.
Reporting: We can supply regular or ad-hoc reports as and when required for you to monitor the success of your ad spend versus leads specific to your advertising campaigns.
Access: We need full access to your website so that we can carry out our work. You will need to confirm that your website developer will facilitate any request we make regarding this or implement our instructions. We can also implement this for you if we have the relevant permissions and access to your website. Full access is also required for Google Analytics & Google Search Console. Again, if not in place we can implement this for you. You are responsible for payment for any work not carried out by Go To Digital UK Ltd.
Limitation of liability: The entire liability of Go To Digital UK Ltd. to the customer in respect of any claim whatsoever or breach of this agreement, whether or not arising out of negligence, shall be limited to the charges paid for the services under this agreement in respect of which the breach has arisen. In no event shall Go To Digital UK Ltd. be liable to the customer for any loss of business, loss of opportunity or loss of profits or for any other indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever. This shall apply even where such a loss was reasonably foreseeable or Go To Digital UK Ltd. had been made aware of the possibility of the customer incurring such a loss.
Website Policies Waiver: You acknowledge that we informed you that applicable (national or international) law may require your website to have a Privacy Policy with specific disclosures. We are not solicitors, we do not provide Privacy Policies as a service, and we are not responsible for your business complying with any applicable privacy laws.
Complaints: Will be acknowledged and deal with any complaint normally within 30 working days. If we haven’t been able to resolve your problem within this period, we will advise you of the time it will take to resolve your complaint and the name of the person who will deal with your complaint.
